This casual resort is located three miles from the museums and boisterous streets of Old Town, and provides easy access to water sports at the popular Smathers Beach. Guests travel to and from downtown Key West via hourly shuttles, or relax by the pool with complimentary lemonade, using portable CD players provided by the hotel. The 180 two-room suites offer Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds, sofa beds, wet bars, microwaves, dial-up Internet access, voice mail, two TVs, and Nintendo video-game consoles. Located on the quiet side of Key West, the hotel is popular with families and vacationers seeking a casual beach resort a bit removed from the noisy streets of Old Town. Whimsical lobby decorations such as ceramic lizards exemplify the pastel-colored resort's lighthearted, casual spirit. Family friendly features include a playground in a garden courtyard. Within the resort's central garden courtyard, a small rock waterfall splashes into a freeform pool. Secluded behind the waterfall, a spa tub accommodates eight people. Padded lounge chairs and complimentary lemonade invite sunbathers, and the Sheraton's daily resort fee covers use of portable CD players at the pool. Some guestrooms overlook the central garden courtyard and pool area. All suites feature the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, which consists of a custom-designed box spring and pillow-top mattress, triple sheeting, two non-allergenic and two down pillows, a decorative pillow, and a poly/down comforter. Decor in the suites' two rooms—separated by sliding doors—includes island-style furnishings and colorful drapes.Dining & RecreationDining Beach House - Informal restaurant overlooking the pool.
