Guests can search for sand dollars on the beach, splash in the heated pool or play beach volleyball and shuffleboard. Pelican's Perch offers table tennis and movies for kids. Live entertainment is featured twice weekly and wine- and-cheese receptions are held every Thursday afternoon. Guests can dine at the Deckside Café and Charley's Boathouse Grill, a local favorite for seafood.

Rooms:

The Outrigger Beach Resort offers 144 guestrooms in two four-story buildings with exterior corridors and no elevators. Rooms are located on the second and third floors and have balconies overlooking the picnic area.

Amenities include cable TV, in-room safes, and dial-up Internet access. Coffeemakers, refrigerators, and microwaves are available on request for an additional fee. Smoking is not permitted in any of the guestrooms

Activities:

The hotel provides a variety of water sports and has an outdoor pool and sundeck that face the Gulf of Mexico. Children’s activities are offered. Beach volleyball, shuffleboard, and a putting green are also available on the grounds and bicycles can be rented through the hotel.
Parasailing, jet skiing, catamaran sailing, and boating are available on the beach. The Bay Beach Golf Club is about a mile away.
