Four miles north of downtown Fort Lauderdale, this straightforward hotel in the village of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea includes three buildings nestled between the beach and State Route A1A.

This hotel provides a lap pool, wading pool, fitness center, and an open-air poolside bar.

Guestrooms in the main building are across a small street from the beach, and have either step-out or full balconies. Some have partial ocean views; all have mini-refrigerators and microwaves.

Clarion Resort Lauderdale is located about four miles north of downtown Fort Lauderdale, in the village of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Comprised of one two-story building, a five-story main building (with front desk, main restaurant, and cocktail lounge), and a five-story beachfront building, the entire property sits between the beach and Route A1A. A small lobby in the main building has tropical-style décor, and a seating area that looks out on Route A1A. The beachfront location/casual atmosphere draws families and vacationing travelers.

A large pool and sundeck are set between the hotel’s main building and the ocean beach. There is also a children's wading pool, and a poolside bar and grill. The hotel fitness center is equipped with cardio-vascular exercise equipment. Scuba diving lessons can be arranged, as well.

Eight miles away, Las Olas Waterfront offers popular shopping and restaurant venues, often touted as some of the area's best. In the evenings, the bar scene offers numerous dancing/entertainment options.

Damon’s Grill - Located in hotel lobby. American cuisine includes barbecued ribs, grilled steak, and seafood. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Adjacent lounge offers several large-screen TVs, and smaller TVs with individual controls at each booth.

Damon’s Beachside Tiki Bar and Grill - Open-air bar and grill located between pool and beach. Open from mid-day through late evening.

Recreation

The hotel offers direct beach access from one of its three buildings. Additionally, there are two heated pools, including one lap pool with an adjacent wading pool overlooking the beach. Diving and jet skiing can be arranged through the hotel tour desk.
