Hotel staff can arrange water sports such as sailing and water-skiing, and the hotel contains a fitness center, four tennis courts, and an outdoor pool overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. This hotel sits along the Intracoastal Waterway, overlooking the 330-slip Bahia Mar Yachting Center, home to prestigious names in the yachting world. seafood. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sand Bar - This poolside bar serves tropical drinks and grilled fare. Ping-Pong, pool, and darts add to the fun. Recreation This hotel features a heated outdoor pool, four lighted tennis courts, Ping-Pong and pool tables, and an extensive fitness center. A private walkway leads to the beach across the street. Hotel staff can arrange a variety of water sports, including sailing, fishing, waterskiing, scuba tours and lessons, and rentals of wave-runners, Hobie Cats, and other watercraft. Guests receive special privileges at the prestigious Grande Oaks Golf Club, a private club about 15 minutes from the hotel. The 18-hole course was designed by golf legend Raymond Floyd. Grand Oaks is also home to the Mark Wood Golf Academy, which offers half- and full-day schools and private instruction. A surcharge applies. The ocean beach is across the street and accessible via a private walkway. The hotel includes a 4-story marina building and a 16-story tower connected by a covered walkway. The lobby offers a number of shops, including a designer boutique, a jewelry store, an art gallery, and a shop selling china, crystal, and linens. Dining options include an ocean-view restaurant, a poolside bar, and a deli. Rooms Located in the four-story marina building and 16-story tower, the 296 guestrooms feature views of the ocean, yacht-filled marina, or tropical gardens and courtyard. Most rooms in the marina building, and all in the tower, include balconies. Rooms have dial-up Internet access (surcharge), two-line cordless phones, in-room safes, and cable TV with premium channels, pay movies, and video games.
